How Shelf Tiers works
Everyone who opens this page ranks the same audiobook library from S (“everyone should read this”) to F (“no one should read this”). The votes are combined into one shared ranking that updates live as people vote.
1. Set your name
Click Set your name (top right) and type one in — you need a name to vote, and the page stays dimmed until you do. Your votes are saved in this browser and synced to the server under that name. The same menu has Clear my votes and Export image….
2. Pick a list
The dropdown next to the title switches between ranking Series, Authors and Narrators. Your name carries over; each list keeps its own votes.
3. Vote
In the Vote view, click a tier letter under a cover to place it, or drag the cover onto a tier row. On a phone, tap the entry and pick a tier.
Click the same letter again to take it back out.
The dashed U marks something you haven’t read: it moves from Unranked to Unread and doesn’t count as a vote.
Cover images link to the book on Audible.
4. See the results
Switch the view dropdown to Tiles to see everything sorted into tiers by everyone’s average, or List for one ranked list. Hover an entry to see who voted what.
Weighted counts voters who agree with you more heavily. Hide Ranked hides what you’ve already ranked, so you can find what to read next.
In List, × hides an entry just for you; it goes under “Hidden by you”, where you can bring it back.
Search… narrows any view by name, book title, author or narrator.
Up top
The dot shows whether you’re connected live. Click N voters to see who has voted — clicking someone else’s name switches to being them (handy on a new device).
